Product Description
AA4C Dry ice cleaning machine CO2 cleaning machine Dry ice cleaner for automobile
The dry ice cleaning machine, which uses dry ice pellets to clean surfaces by blasting them with high-pressure air, is also known by several alternative names, including:
1. Dry ice blaster
2. CO2 cleaning machine
3. Dry ice blasting machine
4. Dry ice cleaner
5. CO2 blasting machine
6. Cryogenic cleaning machine
7. Solid carbon dioxide cleaning machine
8. Ice blasting machine
9. Cold jet cleaning machine
10. Sublimation cleaning machine
These terms are often used interchangeably to refer to the equipment that utilizes dry ice as a cleaning agent to remove dirt, grime, coatings, and contaminants from various surfaces.
Dry ice cleaning machines are needed for several reasons:
1. Non-abrasive cleaning: Dry ice cleaning is a non-abrasive method that uses solid carbon dioxide (dry ice) pellets. It does not leave behind any residue or damage the surfaces being cleaned. This makes it suitable for delicate equipment, sensitive materials, and surfaces that cannot withstand traditional abrasive cleaning methods.
2. Environmentally friendly: Dry ice cleaning is an environmentally friendly cleaning method. Dry ice pellets evaporate upon impact, leaving no secondary waste, chemicals, or water behind. It does not contribute to air or water pollution, making it a sustainable and eco-friendly option.
3. Versatile applications: Dry ice cleaning machines can be used in a wide range of applications across various industries. It is effective for cleaning machinery, equipment, molds, electrical components, automotive parts, food processing equipment, and more. It can remove grease, oil, adhesives, paint, rust, and other contaminants.
4. Time and cost-efficient: Dry ice cleaning is a fast and efficient cleaning method. It reduces downtime as it can be performed on-site without disassembling the equipment. The cleaning process is quick, and the cleaned surfaces can be immediately put back into service. This saves time and labor costs associated with traditional cleaning methods.
5. Non-conductive and safe: Dry ice cleaning is a non-conductive process, making it safe to use on electrical components and in areas where electrical hazards may be present. It eliminates the risk of electrical shock and fire associated with water-based cleaning methods.
Overall, dry ice cleaning machines offer a safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly solution for a wide range of cleaning applications, making them a valuable tool in many industries.
Dry Ice Cleaning uses tiny pellets of dry ice (frozen carbon dioxide) as a cleaning medium, propelled by compressed air at high speed toward surfaces needing to be cleaned.
Benefits of Dry Ice Cleaning
It is simply the best cleaning technique available. Dry ice blasting is:
Non-abrasive
Non-toxic
Non-flammable.
How Dry Ice Cleaning Works
Dry ice (frozen Carbon Dioxide) has several advantages over traditional abrasive blast media like sand, plastic beads, or baking soda. There are actually three forces at work during dry ice blasting. The only one that it shares with traditional blasting is the physical force of the particle hitting the surface. Because dry ice is softer than traditional blast media, it doesn’t damage the surface in the same way an abrasive does. The other forces at play are specific to dry ice - they’re not shared with any other media. The extremely low temperature (-78.8°C) causes the surface to contract, forming tiny cracks which loosen any materials stuck to the surface. The third force is that of sublimation - when the dry ice hits the surface, it’s heated by friction and immediately changes from a solid form to gas. This “blasts” material that was stuck to the surface away while leaving no residue - not even moisture. All that’s left to do is to wipe off the material that’s been cleaned off.
Automotive Applications for Dry Ice Cleaning
Automotive Applications for Dry Ice Cleaning
1. Carbon deposits on the top of the piston in the combustion chamber of the engine;
2. Carbon deposits in the engine valve chamber;
3, the engine exterior;
4. The turbocharger;
5. Wheels and brake discs.
1. Carbon deposits on the top of the piston of the engine combustion chamber;
After the engine cools down, remove the spark plug, insert the spray gun head into the combustion chamber, turn on the remote control switch of the cleaning machine to enter the cleaning program, when the piston is at the bottom dead center, slowly rotate the spray gun head, about 1-2 minutes to complete the cleaning of one cylinder, and then change and clean the others cylinders.
2. Intake valve carbon deposition cleaning: disassemble the engine intake manifold, and directly spray the intake valve with the spray gun head;
3. Cleaning of carbon deposits on the throttle valve: use the spray gun head to directly clean the throttle valve body, generally 2 minutes to complete the cleaning.
4. Engine and turbocharger: Use the nozzle to directly spray the surface of pollutants. The distance between the nozzle and the surface of the object to be cleaned is about 3 cm
